Lou + Dean - Oklahoma City, OK
The Goal
Create an immersive boutique experience that felt bold, elevated, and aligned with the character of the historic downtown building while supporting both men’s and women’s retail.
Our Approach
We leaned into an eclectic-chic aesthetic, layering rich textures, brushed gold details, and intentional merchandising moments throughout the space. A deep merlot red became the defining feature of the design, leading us to fully color-drench the interior to create warmth, depth, and atmosphere.
The Result
The final space feels expressive, fashion-forward, and highly curated while still remaining functional for day-to-day merchandising and seasonal updates — creating a memorable customer experience rooted in both style and strategy.
27 Boutique - Calgary, AB
The Goal
Design a brand-new retail space that felt bold, modern, and visually impactful while creating a strong first impression and a functional shopping experience for customers.
Our Approach
We leaned into an edgy industrial-inspired aesthetic, layering raw materials such as plaster, concrete, and black steel throughout the space to create depth, texture, and contrast. Custom display pedestals were strategically integrated to highlight key merchandise, improve product visibility, and create intentional focal points throughout the store while maintaining flexible merchandising opportunities.

The final space feels sleek, elevated, and highly branded — balancing strong visual impact with thoughtful functionality to support both the customer experience and the boutique’s contemporary fashion offerings.
Elle's Closet Boutique - St. Albert, AB
The Goal
Create a brand-new retail space that felt feminine, elevated, and trend-forward while maintaining a functional layout that supported an easy and enjoyable shopping experience.
Our Approach
Designed from the ground up, the space was created to reflect the heart of Elle’s brand through soft tones, modern finishes, and thoughtfully layered feminine details. Custom display tables and merchandising moments were strategically incorporated throughout the store to improve product flow, create visual focal points, and maintain flexibility for new arrivals and seasonal collections. A large floral installation was introduced as a statement feature, adding personality and creating a memorable branded moment within the space.

Frock Box - St. Albert, AB
The Goal
Create a retail environment that reflected the timeless and sophisticated identity of the Frock Box brand while supporting both the customer shopping experience and the operational needs of the business.
Our Approach
The space was designed with a clean, elevated aesthetic, incorporating subtle touches of the brand’s signature emerald green throughout to create cohesion and strong brand recognition. Thoughtful layout planning and merchandising moments were integrated to support customer flow, product visibility, and flexibility within the large retail footprint. A standout feature of the space is the custom-designed conference area, blending functionality and sophistication to seamlessly support both retail and business operations within one cohesive environment.
In addition to the primary retail store design, our ongoing partnership with Frock Box has included the design and styling of multiple branded experiences, including a pop-up shop, Body Analysis Lounge, and custom soda cart activation — helping maintain a consistent and recognizable brand presence across a variety of customer touch points.

Stil Boutique - North Battleford, SK
The Goal
Bring STIL Boutique’s bold, trend-forward brand identity into a fresh new retail space while creating a functional layout that could seamlessly support both fashion and beauty retail within one cohesive environment.
Our Approach
As our second collaboration with STIL Boutique, the space was designed to feel vibrant, confident, and highly reflective of the brand’s personality. Dedicated zones for apparel and curated beauty products were strategically incorporated throughout the layout to improve customer flow, product visibility, and overall shopping functionality. Playful design details, strong visual moments, and layered merchandising opportunities were introduced to create an energetic atmosphere while maintaining flexibility for evolving inventory and seasonal updates.

Jenny Joans - Estevan, SK
The Goal
Transform a former bank into a modern, timeless retail environment while preserving the unique character and architectural elements of the original space — including the existing vault.
Our Approach
This project was completed through our The Retail Blueprint service, where we collaborated closely with both the client and contractor to bring the vision to life remotely. The design focused on clean lines, soft arch details, and the natural texture of plaster to create a light, elevated atmosphere that felt both modern and approachable. Thoughtful layout planning and merchandising flexibility were incorporated throughout the space to ensure the store remained highly functional for day-to-day retail operations while allowing the original architectural details to remain a focal point.

The Goal
Transform a charming character home into a fashion-forward retail space that balanced the original architectural charm of the building with a fresh, modern boutique experience.

Completed through our The Retail Blueprint service, this project focused on blending traditional architectural details with clean, contemporary design elements to create a space that felt both unique and approachable. As our very first client, Bella Maas Boutique has been a long-term collaborative partnership spanning over six years. Throughout that time, we’ve worked closely with the brand on seasonal store flips, custom window displays, merchandising updates, and multiple core design refreshes to keep both locations feeling current, cohesive, and engaging for returning customers. Each update has focused on balancing strong visual impact with practical functionality, ensuring the stores remain flexible for changing inventory, seasonal collections, and evolving merchandising needs while staying true to the boutique’s recognizable aesthetic.

As a long-time client, we’ve partnered with Ella Coco season after season to design custom window installations and coordinated in-store visual displays that feel cohesive, elevated, and highly intentional. Each seasonal refresh is thoughtfully designed to guide customers naturally from the storefront into the interior space while highlighting key product stories and maintaining strong visual flow throughout the boutique. U of A Kiosk - Edmonton Intl. Airport
The Goal
Create seasonal kiosk displays that would capture attention within a high-traffic airport environment while maintaining strong brand recognition and a cohesive customer experience for travelers passing through Edmonton International Airport.

For the third consecutive year, we’ve partnered on the design and installation of seasonal displays for the University of Alberta kiosks, creating visually impactful experiences designed specifically for a fast-paced public environment. Each installation focuses on bold visual storytelling, strategic product placement, and strong focal moments to maximize visibility from multiple sightlines throughout the terminal. The displays are thoughtfully planned to remain highly functional for day-to-day operations while allowing flexibility for seasonal transitions and evolving product assortments.

For this vibrant beauty space, we sourced updated display tables and completely re-merchandised the product assortment to improve functionality, customer navigation, and product visibility. James Residence - Vernon, BC
The Goal
Create a modern lakefront retreat that balanced elevated design with the warmth and comfort of a functional vacation home, while reflecting the homeowner’s trendy and fashion-forward aesthetic.

As our very first residential project, this modern cabin on the shores of Lake Okanagan was designed to bring the same chic, curated feeling we often create in retail spaces into a more personal setting. Working with a longtime boutique client, we focused on layered textures, modern furnishings, and intentional styling details that created a cohesive atmosphere throughout the home. Thoughtful space planning and functional design elements were incorporated to ensure the home felt both visually elevated and comfortable for everyday lake life and entertaining.
